CASH, AMARYLLIS (AMY) BOALS - age 86, went peacefully to heaven Thursday morning, June 13, 2013. She was a member of Central Baptist Church of Bearden (Knoxville, TN) and long time member of First Baptist Church of Memphis (TN). Amy was a retired registered nurse. She got her education through the Cadet Nurse Corps in the mid 1940's. Her career was centered at the Methodist Hospital in Memphis. She was an accomplished seamstress and an avid reader and crossword puzzle fan. Amy became the "caregiver" for the Cash and Boals family, as the first born Boals daughter and wife of the youngest Cash son. She supported her husband Verlon Sanford Cash in his Masonic and Shriner's fund raising efforts for the Shriner's Hospital. She joins her husband, Verlon, in heaven.

She is survived by her daughter, Paula Cash (Lemmond) Womack; grandchildren, Michelle Elizabeth Lemmond and Michael Andrew Sanford Lemmond (Angela); her sisters, Geraldine Boals Pascoe (Jim), and Annette Boals O'Neil; brothers, Gerald Boals (Jeannie) and Everett Boals.

The family will receive friends 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 17th, at Weaver's Chapel with a celebration of life service at 7:00 pm. Interment will be at Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on Lyonsview Pike at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. You may sign Amy's register online at www.weaverfuneralservices.com.
