Ruth Anne Berry 81, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Ruth Anne was born in Upland, CA, on August 8, 1932. She graduated from Chaffey High School in 1949. She was the beloved wife of Dowlton Berry for 63 years. Ruth was the daughter of the late John and Anne Castle of Ontario, CA and sister to the late Mary Lee Pool. Ruth Anne is survived by her husband Dowlton, sons Lance (Carla) Berry and Craig (Kim) Berry, grandchildren Megan and Rachel Berry, Stephanie (Jeff) Miller and Mitchell Berry, and great-grandchildren Gillian and Finn Miller. Ruthie loved spending time at the ocean, listening to the crashing sound of the waves. She loved tending to her rose garden, reading books, playing cards and above all else loved traveling and spending time with her family. She will always be remembered for her loyalty, laughter, selfless generosity and adventurous spirit. Ruth Anne's service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday March 7, 2014 at Sunset Mausoleum, Bellevue Memorial Park, Ontario. Reception to immediately follow at Red Hill Country Club. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ruth Anne's honor to the Salvation Army: 2320 5th Ave. San Diego, CA 92101 (please include her name on the memo line of your check).
