Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ took her home peacefully while her daughter Chris was holding her hand. She had been living with her daughter and son in-law Patrick Moore for eight years in Edmond, Ok. Her and her late husband Paul Castle, were known as a "Couple of Characters." Alma met Paul while he was one of the stars in Sonja Henie Show in Rockefeller Center Theater, New York. Paul went work with Ice Capades as the "Mighty Might" one of the stars in the show and Alma skated as well. They wore Disney Costumes in the shows and that's when Paul met Walt Disney. Alma and Paul also skated in Ice Capades International, Ice Cycles, and with Holiday on Ice in Europe. After retiring from the Ice Show; Paul & Alma packed up the family and moved to Hollywood, Ca. They both became actors, doing stand ins and commercials at Disney Studios and other studios. That's when Walt Disney hired Paul to be his (main Mickey Mouse.) Alma started part time as Pinocchio. When the children all stared school Alma went fulltime working in many different shop in Disneyland. She retired after 18yrs. From the largest shop on Main Street the Emporium. She had also represented all the Shops in Disneyland as the Union Rep. for the Retail Clerks Union. She made many people happy over the years of working at Disneyland. She hosted many "character parties" and Luaus at her home. She was known for her Hawaiian Chicken! She was a very caring person and a wonderful loving mother. She would take the children and friends to the Ice Rinks, beaches for surfing, and to Disneyland of course. Alma was preceded in death by her first daughter Paula and then her husband Paul. She is survived by her daughter Chris, son Paul Jr. , five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. We will all miss her very much!
