Melinda was a member of Lone Oak Church of God Mission, where she was a Sunday school teacher and Bible school teacher.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mrs. Roberta Casto.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Greg Arthur; father, William "Bill" Casto and wife, Reba; children, Roberta Ann Arthur and William Gregory Arthur; sisters, Melody and husband, Chris Mack, and Brett Robinson; brother, Trent Casto; three nieces; one nephew; three great-nieces; two great-nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Hospice, Lone Oak Church of God Mission, Wade Chapel United Methodist Church, Paradise Bible Church and Bancroft Church of God Mission for all your love and support given to the Arthur family.
A tribute to the life of Mrs. Melinda Arthur will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 11, at Gatens-Harding Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Ray Parsons and Scott Casto officiating. Entombment will follow in Haven of Rest Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
