Mary Elizabeth Casto Bennett, 29, of Moss Point, MS passed away Friday, May 8, 2009 in Greene County.
Mary Beth was born January 7, 1980 to Keith and Cheryl Casto in Pascagoula, MS. She was a 1998 graduate of Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Moss Point, MS. She was a devoted mother, daughter, sister and friend. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing, a talent she shared with her daughter Alice, who was her world. Mary Beth loved life, her family, friends, and living along the Gulf Coast.
She was joined in death by her daughter, Alice Bennett and preceded in death by grandparents, Max T. Casto, and Jacob and Dorothy Tremmel.
She is survived by her husband Chad Bennett of St. Cloud, MN; parents, Keith and Cheryl Casto of Moss Point, MS; a brother Kevin Casto ( Jackie) of Aiken, SC, a sister, Lesley Casto of Tupelo, MS; mother and father in law, Michael and Marion Bennett of Sundance, WY; sister and brother in law, Ann and Kyle Shanahan of Chatfield, MN, grandmother, Mary Casto of Moss Point, MS; nieces and nephews, Jacob and Grace Casto, Jackson Shanahan and a multitude of friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at St. Joseph Catholic Church from 12-2 pm. Funeral Mass will follow at 2pm with Father Mike Austin officiating. Interment will follow at Old Biloxi Cemetery.
