ALLEN, ELIZABETH A. (BETTY), 75, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2005, at her home after a long battle with cancer. She was the former Elizabeth Cecil, a native of Louisville. She was a retired contract bus driver with the Jefferson County Public School System driving bus #503. Her memberships included the Eastern Star Shivley Lodge. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Conn and Elizabeth Cecil; and husband, Dale W. Allen. Survivors include her children, Betty L. Gupton, and Robert L. Curts Jr. and his wife, Marilyn; grandchildren, Christine Gupton, Robyn E. Curts, Jonathan A. Curts. Funeral service 2 p.m. Tuesday, Resthaven Funeral Home, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation at the funeral home on Monday from 1-8 p.m. and from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Tuesday. Expressions of sympathy may go to American Cancer Society or Hospice of Louisville.
