Patricia Margaret Cecil Niggle Abell, 83, of Indianapolis, passed away November 9, 2011.
She was one of 14 children of Chester and Stella Young Cecil born on August 18, 1928.
Her husbands, Lt. Col. Harry T. Niggle and L. Bertram Abell; grandson, Gregory Ballard; great grandson, Juaquin Hollis; sisters, Beatrix Waltman, Mary Kay Norris, Marjorie Shields, Virginia Smith, Betty Cassidy; brothers, Francis, James, Arthur, and Joseph Cecil, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children, Timothy (Karen) Niggle, Philip (Lourdes) Niggle, Gregory (Linda) Niggle, Laura (John) Plunkett; stepchildren, Raymond Abell, Alfred (Sandy) Abell, Carolyn (Morris) Jones, George (Kathy) Abell; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren;10 step grandchildren; sisters, Carol (Ralph) Graham, Shirley (Jimmy) Skelly, and Beverly Braun; brother, Robert G. Cecil; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, November 11 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 2905 Carson Avenue, with calling there from 1 p.m. until the time of services.
She will be laid to rest in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
