Mrs. Belle A. Cessna of Rural Valley, RD5, age 55 died in the Armstrong County Hospital this morning at 1 o'clock of injuries received when she was struck by a car while crossing a road on Route 422 near Whitesburg.
The accident occurred about 10:30 a.m. Friday and the woman was rushed to the hospital by ambulance. She suffered a fractured skull.
Born Jan. 20 1891, the daughter of George Aikens and Mary Lonison Aikens (deceased) she is survived by one sister, Mrs. Grayce Reichle of Creekside, RD 1 and her husband Blair Cessna, Rural Valley.
Respects may be paid to the deceased Sunday afternoon after 10 a.m. Services will be conducted in the Potts Funeral Home at Elderton at 2:30 p.m. (EST) Monday.
