Dorothy "Dotti" May Cessna-Taylor, 83, of Sun City, Las Vegas, passed away Dec. 3, 2014, at the City of Hope in Duarte, Calif. She was born Sept. 8, 1931, in Whittier, Calif., and was a 54-year resident of Las Vegas.
Dotti was a cocktail waitress for 35 years, the majority of which was at Binion's Horseshoe. She was also an entrepreneur in real estate. Dotti was very active in Sun City, where she has lived for the past 24 years. She loved tap dancing with the Sun City Dance Co. and participated in the photo club and the computer club. She celebrated every day of her life and will be missed by all that loved her and her many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Taylor; her parents, Ova Cessna and Rose S. Freymond; and her sister, Joan S. Cessna.
She is survived by her sister, Barbara J. Kanenbley; two nieces, Linda S. Saena and Lori May Garia; four great-nephews; two great-nieces; two great-great-nephews; and three great-great-nieces.
