He was born in Altoona, son of William W. and Mary K. (Fasick) Cessna.
Surviving are his wife, Sharon F. (Lee); a son, Richard W. “Rich” Jr. of Altoona; and a granddaughter, Alyssa Morgan Cessna of Smock.
He was preceded in death by four sisters.
Ric was a graduate of Altoona High School. He was employed as an electrician at the Juniata Locomotive Shop of Penn Central/Conrail/Norfolk Southern for over 30 years, retiring in 2004. He was a member of the Altoona Pool League for over 30 years as well.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
