DOWNEY-Memorial services will be held tomorrow (Saturday, March 29) at 2 p.m. at the Downey United Methodist Church for Alice Strawl Chandler, a Downey resident for 47 years, who died at Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital in Whittier March 23.
She was 71, born in Pennsylvania, and was a Downey United Methodist nursery teacher.
She was a member of the Downey United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, David Chandler; sons Timothy, Paul and Alan; a daughter, Elaine Chandler; and five grandchildren.
The Rev. Earl L. McCallum will officiate.
Burial was at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier.
Arrangements were by the Miller-Mies Mortuary of Downey.
