The seventh of twelve children born to John Rudolph Olafson Berg and Johannah Albertina Steckman. Albertina “Tina” married Thomas Ochletree Chandler on 1 July 1908. They had six children, Adrienne, Helen, John Howard, Neil Edward, James, and Willis Chandler. She was 82 at the time of her death.
