Ernestine "Teen" Chaplin Baldwin, of Charleston, SC, widow of Francis "Franny" Baldwin, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, December 8, 2015. She was 91 years old.

Teen and Franny were married for 44 years and were inseparable, minus the time he spent serving in WWII. After Franny's untimely death, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren became her world. She leaves behind her loving daughter, Trudy Baldwin, and two sons and daughters-in-law, Clipper and Essie Baldwin and Mickey and Sally Baldwin. While being predeceased by her two oldest grandsons, Richard 'Trey' Puckhaber III and Ryan Baldwin Puckhaber, she also leaves behind her only granddaughter, Sarah Baldwin, her youngest grandson, Mick Baldwin, and the three girls who lit up her world most recently, her three great-granddaughters, Rylee Christine Puckhaber, Reagan Chaplin Bilbro, and Henley Ryan Bilbro.

Affectionately known as Mamie by many, she was loved by all who met her because of her genuine loving nature. She was the epitome of a sweet, southern lady. She came from a large family, being one of seven children, and married into a large family, so extended family abounds, and she loved and truly cared for every single one of them. She lived a fun, fulfilling, beautiful life and will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by everyone who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Epworth Children's Home 2900 Millwood Avenue, Columbia SC 29205.

Visitation will be held at 1pm, one hour prior to her 2 pm funeral service at Bethany United Methodist Church at 1853 Maybank Highway, James Island.

The family will have a private burial.
