Mrs. Sterling retired from the Kroger Company where she worked in the meat department. She loved her grandkids and the time she spent with them. Her hobbies included shopping on the internet and collecting dolls, antiques, and jewelry.
Born in Oakland, California July 12, 1942, Mrs. Sterling was the daughter of Claude and Ruth Nault Chaplin.
Mrs. Sterling is survived by her children, Bill Sterling of Missouri, Sean Sterling of San Francisco, CA, Michelle (Danny Browning) Hinton of Columbus, IN Julie (Bob Pavy) Sterling of Edinburgh, IN, and Shannon (Shawn Eder) Bowling of Columbus, IN; a sister, Mary Lou Channell of Concordia, Kansas; a brother, Glen (Janet) Chaplin of Kansas; 11 grandchildren; and a great grandson.
Mrs. Sterling was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Harold L. Sterling.
