Mrs. Bertha Charleston, 70, of 1510 West 42nd street, died at home June 25 following a long illness. Funeral rites were conducted at 2 p.m. June 29, at First Church of Christ Holiness, with the Rev. O. W. McInnis officiating.
The daughter of the late Jack and Mrs. Florence Grandy Sears, Mrs. Charleston was a native of Camden, NC. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale's Funeral Home in charge.
