Ambrose Chase, a well-known farmer residing in the town of Pittsfield, just above the Morris town line on the Ketchum road, died March 20th, after only a few hours' illness with acute Bright's disease. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Harry Gardner, who with her husband had resided with her father since the death of his wife two years ago, and Mrs. Leon Gile of Pittsfield. Mr.Chase was a son of the late Daniel Chase, and had always resided in Pittsfield. He was the brother of Frank, Henry and John Chase, living in the same vicinity, and of Mrs. John Brownell and Mrs. George Harris of Morris.
