"Mrs. Celestia Antisdel - On Thursday morning, August 19th, occurred the death of Mrs. Celestia Antisdel at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. F. Prentice at Glenwood Park, Ilion, following an illness of only a few months.

The deceased was born in Hartwick, November 1, 1837. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. W. F. Prentice of Ilion, and Mrs. J. H. Colman, of Cooperstown, four sons, Fred Bliss of Oneonta, William Bliss of Toddsville, George Bliss of Morris, and Frank Bliss of Cooperstown. She is also survived by about twenty-five grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

The funeral services were conducted at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. F. Prentice, by the Rev. E. B. Topping.

Many and beautiful were the floral tributes by relatives and friends. Interment in the Otego Valley Cemetery." ["The Otsego Farmer & Republican" (Cooperstown, NY), Aug. 27, 1915, p. 7]
