A Memorial Service was held for Mrs. Annette Chase Alexander at 1 p.m., April. 30, Christ's Episcopal Church, Greenville.
Mrs. Alexander was born May 13, 1907, in Massena, the daughter of Attorney Giles A. Chase and Edith H. Chase, life long residents of this Village. After attending the Massena schools, she was graduated from Wells College
and received her master's degree from Columbia University. She entered the New York State Department of Mental Hygiene in Psychiatric Social Work and spent her
adult life in such work at different locations and installations, retiring as director for the State of New York in 1972.
Surviving are her husband. Dr. Duncan Alexander, retired physician; three sisters, Mrs. Mildred Jessop of Frostproof, FL; Mrs. Irene Angus, Mansfield, OH; and Mrs. Virginia Huff, Rochester, and two brothers, Att. Elihu Chase of Massena and Att. Lester H. Chase of Glen Head.
