Daughter of Alfred Ulysses CHASE (1867–1927) and Dora Belle Trowbridge CHASE (1872–1955).

Tennice made hand-tooled leather for the Roycroft Shop of East Aurora, N.Y. from 1916-1917 and the Kayser Art Shop of Buffalo from 1917-1918.

From 1918-1921 she was then employed by National Aniele Chemical Co of Buffalo.

From 1921-1924 she worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad, Smethport, PA

From 1924-1938 she was employed at the Franklinville Canning Factory.

Married William C. ABBOTT on 07 Apr 1930 in Ischua, Cattaraugus County, NY. It appears they did not have any children.
