Mamie L. Chiari, 97, of Upper Deerfield Twp. died Tuesday evening, May 27, 2014 in the Genesis Rehabilitation Center in Millville.

Born in Blue Ridge, VA to the late Elleck Frazier and Roberta Ruff Frazier, she was the wife of the late Modesto "Mose" Chiari. Mamie had been a resident of Upper Deerfield since the mid 1930's. In her early years she had worked as a farmer's wife and a wonderful homemaker.

She is survived by her two children, Brenda J. Chiari of Upper Deerfield Twp. and Don Chiari of Upper Deerfield Twp.; three grandchildren, James R. Chiari, Jr., Crystal Byal and Joe Nolan (Emmy); three great-grandchildren, Taylor Nolan, Joey Nolan and Justin Nolan; a dear sister-in-law, Frances Abbott and many loving nieces and nephews. Besides her husband "Mose", Mamie was preceded in death by a son; J. Ronald Chiari; a sister, Ada Robertson and a brother, Claude Frazier.

Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Saturday, May 31st at 11 AM.

Interment will take place at Northville Lutheran Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions in Mrs. Chiari's memory be made to either North Cumberland Little League, P.O. Box 5142, Bridgeton or to the Northville Lutheran Cemetery Fund, 1013 Monroe Avenue, Bridgeton, NJ 08302.
