C.J Chipman received a telephone message from Mt. Morris yesterday afternoon, announcing the death of his sister, Mrs. Emily M. Baker, who had long been an Invalid. Her age was 67 years. Mrs. Baker was born and married at Bergen and began housekeeping in Rochester, which continued to be her home until after the death of her husband. James F. Baker, which took place April 25, 1876, when she moved to this village, where she resided until August 22, 18?3, when she moved to Geneseo. Three years ago she went to live in Mt. Morris. Mrs. Baker leaves four daughters. Miss Mary Baker, Mrs. W.W Willard of Geneseo Miss Fannie C. Baker and Mrs. John C. Dickey of Mt. Morris; a sister Miss Frances L. Chipman of Geneseo and a brother, C. J. Chipman of this village. During her residence In Bergen Mrs. Baker made many friends, who will mourn her loss and will cherish her memory. burial In Mt. Rest cemetery.
