Elizabeth "Betsy" (Chipman) Adams was the daughter of Barnabas Lothrop and Beulah (Evarts) Chipman. She was the wife of Capt. Joshua Adams. They were married Elizabethtown, Leeds Co., Ontario, Canada March 15, 1803. Joshua died April 23, 1863.
