WESSINGTON-Word has been received from Inez Huestis, Wessington, who is now spending the winter in California, telling of the death of her sister, Mrs. Blanche Bower, 79, who died Feb. 3 at her home in San Diego. Funeral services were conducted Feb. 6.
Mrs. Bower was born October 2, 1883 in Hand County, S.D. She married Luther Brown in 1900 and to this union two children were born. He died in 1917. She married Carl Tipton before 1920. Mr. Tipton died in 1928. Mrs. Brown and children moved to San Diego. She married Samuel Bower in June, 1930. He preceded her death in 1950.
