Ethel G. Adams, 93, formerly of 75 State Street, died Monday in a Portland nursing home after a long illness.
She was born in Portland, a daughter of Anton and Emma Christianson Enerson, and graduated from Portland High School in 1921.
Mrs. Adams was executive secretary for John J. Nissen Baking Co. for over 30 years, retiring in 1970.
She was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Portland and the Dorcas Society and the Tuesday Group at the church.
Her husband, Wilmont H. Adams, died in 1962. [Note: they were married 2 Aug 1926 in the First Lutheran Church, Portland ME]
