Elsie Bosen, 82, Clitherall, died Thursday, April 13, 2006, in Battle Lake (Minn.) Good Samaritan Center.
Elsie Christianson was born Sept. 19, 1923, near Vining, Minn. She grew up in the Battle Lake area. She worked for Rainbow Pavilion, Ethel Beach, Rogers Place, Battle Lake Bakery and Laker Lanes Bowling, all in the Battle Lake area. She also waitressed for Stubs Dining Hall & Saloon for 25 years. She also worked for Bonnie and Clydes, Clitherall. On Oct. 25, 1942, she married Paul Bosen in Clitherall. She entered the care center in 2004.
She is survived by a son, Gerald (Claudette), Andover, Minn.; a daughter, Bonnie (Boyd) Olson, Clitherall; two brothers, Carl, Orrin (Betty), both Clitherall; three sisters, Marie Tenney, of California, Rubye Biederman, Sharon (Dave) Carson, both Clitherall; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Monday from 4 to 8, with a prayer service at 7:30, in Glende-Nilson Funeral Home, Battle Lake, and Tuesday from 1 to 2 in Nidaros Lutheran Church near Clitherall.
Funeral: Tuesday at 2 in the church.
Burial: Nidaros Lutheran Church Cemetery near Clitherall.
