Funeral services for Miss Alice L. Chubbuck, 88, a retired high school mathematics teacher were Saturday May 21, in the White River Presbyterian church in Auburn, Washington.
Miss Chubbuck died Thursday May 19, in an Auburn nursing home.
Born in Hudson (Wisconsin], she was a graduate of Hudson High school with the class of 1895. Later she was graduated from the University of Wisconsin. She came to Auburn in 1906.
Miss Chubbuck taught at Auburn High school and later at Medford, Ore. She retired in Oregon about 1940 and returned to Auburn. She was a member of the White River Presbyterian church. A niece survives.
