Edward “Poody” Claiborne III passed at his home on November 20, 2014 at 3:20 am. Husband of Wanda Ambo Claiborne of 38 years. Father of Deautta (Joel) Alexander, Ashley (Duke) Smith and Edward (Latoya) Claiborne IV. Grandfather of five. Son of Rosemary Claiborne and the late Edward Claiborne, Jr. Brother of Angela (Herman) Cade, Lisa (Keith) Heberard, Mary Ann Hubbard and Cleo (Darlene) Claiborne. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, friends, cousins and co-workers. He will be missed by his favorite cousin Leroy Langford and god mother Carman Langford.
