Margaret M (Clare)of Abington, formerly of Quincy, passed away May 10, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Walter H. Buckley. Loving mother of Margaret M.Perez and her husband, Antonio of Abington. Sister of Catherine DiMonte of Lomita, California, and the late Francis Clare, Walter Clare, Rita Staples, and Teresa Patts. Grandmother of Richard and Elizabeth Perez Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Margaret was born and raised in Quincy and had lived there for many years before moving to Abington four years ago. Margaret had worked for thirty five years at Quincy Medical Center retiring in 1988 as a Nursing Supervisor. She was a 1949 graduate of North Quincy High School, a 1951 graduate of Quincy Nursing School and in her spare time, she enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and golfing. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 p.m. in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Quincy. A Celebration of Life service will be held in the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday prior to the funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 11 a.m. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation, 720 Harrison Ave,, Boston, MA 02118.
