She retired from Brown & Williamson as a supervisor of Accounts Receivables. She was a member of St. Louis Bertrand Catholic Church, Queens Daughter, the Rosary Altar Society, and St. Joseph's Orphan Society.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Arthur P. Cartwright Jr. and her cousin, Mary Jo Burke.
She is survived by many cousins and friends.
Her funeral Mass will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Louis Bertrand Catholic Church, 1104 S. Sixth St., with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday . Published in The Courier-Journal from April 2 to April 4, 2012.
