Earl Guy Clark, 76, a contractor and builder, died at a local hospital Monday evening from a probable heart attack. He has been in ill health for several years.

He was born in Wausau, Wis., July 12, 1885. He lived in the community of his birth until he was about 17 years old. The family moved to New York City, N.Y., where the family lived for several years before going to Tulsa, Okla. He lived there for the majority of his life in the contracting and building business.

It was in Tulsa he was married to Elsie May Foster in 1919. The young couple lived there for several years and moved to Kansas before coming to this area in 1947. He was a veteran of World War I, having served overseas for two years in the infantry.

He is survived by his widow and a daughter, Mrs. William Creason of Rupert and a sister, Mrs. M. E. Sheppard of Tulsa, Okla.; and two grandchildren.
