David "Dave" Edgar Clark, age 61, of Marietta, GA passed away Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain.

He was born February 16, 1951 in Eaton Rapids, Michigan. His family moved to Florida in 1963. Dave moved to Georgia in 1975. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in 1991. His wife is Connie Jackson Clark. His parents are Charles(deceased) and Dortha Clark.

He is survived by Uncle John and Aunt Maxine Clark and Aunt Elaine and Uncle Jim Brinninstool; son, David Edgar Clark, II; stepsons, Rick and Scott Cheney; daughters-in-law, Carey and Amy Cheney; grandchildren, Nicholas, Emileigh, Philip, and Lydia Cheney; sisters and brothers-in-law, Susan Cassel & Romando Bonilla, Nancy & George Bartke, Sally & Roy Baker, Tom Cassel; very close family & friends, Brian & Anita DeForest, Jim & Karen McDonald; Reuben(deceased) & Denise Jackson, Janet Smith(deceased) & Steve Hardy, Fae & Russ(deceased) Drummond, Ann & Jim Smith, Elaine Lundy, Melinda & James, Seth, Steven, Savannah, Aldo, Raina; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, and numerous friends.

Dave never met a stranger. He enjoyed getting together with his family and friends. He enjoyed teaching English to speakers of other languages. Through this ministry God blessed him with many friends from other countries. Dave was a hard worker, and he loved to help people. The last few years of his life, he was in a lot of pain making it difficult for him to do things that he wanted to do. God blessed him and Connie through a lot of people in so many ways, especially over the last three years of his life. Dave worked at Ray Paul Enterprises, Regan Equipment, and Ridgecrest Power Solutions.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Tuesday, November 13, at 2:00 PM from the Noonday Baptist Church with Dr. James McDonald and Dr. Richard Holden officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
