Charles Elton Clark was born 7 Mar 1907 at Rigby, Jefferson, Idaho, USA to Charles W. Clark and Genevieve Graham.
He married Leatha Luella Howard 29 Oct 1924 at Clark (near Rigby, Jefferson, Idaho. They lived in Ririe, Jeffersen, Idaho. Elt farmed in the Mud Springs area, logged in Kelly Canyon and Island Park areas and was a cattle dealer in the Rigby area. He was a member of the Curch of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He is the father of three children: Jean Clark Ker, Larry E Clark, and LaVon Clark Ferguson.
He died 15 Oct 1965 near Ririe, Idaho.
He is survived by his wife Leatha, of Ririe; Children, Jean (Richard) Ker of Idaho Falls; LaVon (Dearold) Ferguson of Shelton; Larry E. (Jennie) Clark of Idaho Falls; His father, Charles W. Clark of American Falls, Idaho; three brothers, Jesse G. Clark, of Idaho Falls, Harold Clark of Jackson, Wyoming, and Calvin Clark of Moses Lake, Washington; 12 grandchildren and 1 great grand child.
Funeral services were held 18 Oct 1965 in the Ririe First Ward Chapel with Bishop Rendon Lovell conducting. He is buried in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery.
Elt was killed instantly when the pickup he was in was struck in the rear by an automobile. His pick-up was knocked 205 feet down the Highway to the west, through the borrow pit and into a field. The accident took place on U.S. Highway 48, in Jefferson County 1.8 miles west of Ririe
