Louise Virginia Thornton Clark, 70, of Penhook and formerly of Covel, W.Va., passed away Friday, January 12, 2007. She was born September 17, 1936 to the late Bernard and Janett Thornton and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda Louise Clark; and brothers, Bernard Junior Thornton and Olen Lee Thornton. Louise was an owner of the Penhook Boat Dock and was known for the "Louise Cheeseburger." She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, George Bea Clark; children, Debbie Rowles and husband Danny of Gretna, George "Butch" Clark and wife Lynn of Penhook, Sharon Williams and husband Donnie of Penhook, and Shawna Henry and husband Ron of Rustburg; grandchildren, Chastity McBroom and husband John, Jamie Clark, Brandon Gautier, Derek Lester, Jeremy Clark, Cassi Williams, Steven and Kaley Henry; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted from Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton, W.Va., 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Judith Short officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, W.Va. Her family will be receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Flora Funeral Service, South Main St., Rocky Mount, Va. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home, Honaker Rd., Princeton, W.Va.
