Mr. Emory W. Clark, 93, of Marietta died August 6, 2009.
He was a member of Morningside Baptist Church, where he was a member of the Threatt Bible Class.
He is survived by his wife Sibyl Ross Clark, daughter Sherry Bray and her husband Chuck of Ellijay, grandson, Thad Smith and his wife Cindy of Holly Springs, sisters Josephine Mitchell and her husband Kontz of Decatur, Ellen Stevens of Decatur, and Ruth Eason of Macon.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 9, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Sandy Springs Chapel. Rev. Robert Cleland will officiate. Interment will follow in Georgia Memorial Park, Marietta, Ga. Memorial contributions may be made to Metropolitan Hospice, 200 Village Parkway, Marietta, GA 30067. The family will receive friends Saturday from 4-6 p.m. at Sandy Springs Chapel, 136 Mt. Vernon Hwy. Sandy Springs, GA.
