While serving in the Marine Corps on the USS Yorktown, Gary was wounded and in hospital for 18 months. After the service, he joined the family pioneer wallpaper and painting business. On March 9, 1957, he married Neva Joyce Hanes at Point Loma, CA. They had five children and were later divorced. Survivors included: children Lisa (Dave) Luthy and Jennifer (Mike) Harvey, both of Ammon, Gary R. Clark, Jr., James (Jenny) Clark of Boise,and Arthur (Jennifer) Clark of Rochester, MN; sisters Patsy Rowberry of Kalispel, MT, Peggy Bradley of Idaho Falls and Bob (Joyce) Clark of Portland, OR; and 11 Grandchildren. Preceding were his brother Monte Clark and grandson Harley Berry. Graveside services were held March 13th, with military rites by Bonneville County Veterans Team.
