Mary Evelyn Clark Allred, 69, of 4837-13th East, Holladay, died Tuesday (20 Jul 1954) at 4:30 p.m. in a Salt Lake hospital of a heart attack. She was born Nov. 27, 1884, in St. Charles, Ida., daughter of Dr. Arthur Benjamin and Mary Katrina Rasmussen Clark, early-day pioneers. Married July 15, 1903, at Colonia Juarez, Chihuahua, Old Mexico, to the late Byron Harvey Allred, former member of the Wyoming Senate and Idaho House of Representatives. He died Jan. 18, 1937. Survivors: nine of 10 children, Dr. Rulon C. and Owen Arthur Allred, Mrs. Joseph L (Beth) Jessop, Marvin L. and Clarence Eugene Allred, all of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Rudolph (Mary Evelyn) Larsen, Emmett, Ida.; Mrs. Horace (Olive) Nielsen, Trout Creek, Utah; Otho Harvey Allred, Yucalpa, Cal., and Mrs. Howard G. (Modine) Clark, Blackfoot; 96 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by seven children of her husband's first wife and 13 brothers and sisters. Funeral services Saturday at 2 p.m. in Blackfoot Third-Fifth Ward Chapel. Friends may call at 260 E. South Temple, Salt Lake City, Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial in Blackfoot Cemetery
