Note: There is a lot of confusion on John W. Clench as he got cross referenced to a John W. Clinch who also served in Co. C, 2nd Ohio Heavy Artillery. John Clinch served from 1863 to 1865. He was born in 1844 in England and died 16 Mar 1913 in Gahanna, Franklin County, OH (memorial ID 121386107).
