Jeane Adams, 91, was born in Butte, Montana, to Walter and Ethel Clinch. She grew up in Joplin, Missouri, attending McMurray women's college. Jeane married Richard Lackey, and their union produced four children, Richelle, John, Debbie, and Dee Ann. Richard passed away at age 44. Jeane married Jim Adams in 1967, and they spent 45 wonderful years together. They both loved traveling and took trips all over the world. Jeane was an avid OU fan. She was a member of the Touchdown Club and rarely missed a game. She took up golf in her 50s and loved playing with their friends and on their trips. Jeane was a wonderful hostess and loved entertaining their many friends. She belonged to many clubs, including Acorn book club, Marcellan, garden club and many others. Jeane was a devout Catholic and was a greeter at Christ the King Parrish for many years. She and Jim were excellent dancers and enjoyed belonging to Revelers Dance Club. Jeane is survived by her children, Caroline Adams, John Lackey, Debbie Faulkner, and Dee Ann Kunzman; six grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. We want to give our heartfelt thanks to Nora Hensley for her wonderful care and companionship for the last six years. Jeane was a beautiful, vivacious and loving person and will be missed by all. Private family services will be held.
