Born at Back Bay, NB, on August 12, 1917, he was a son of the late Warden and Ethel (Hooper) McLeese.

A loving father, grandfather and brother, he is survived by one daughter, Myrna Gillis of Quispamsis, NB; 1 step-daughter, Elaine Wedlock of Markham, ON.; one granddaughter, Kelly Arsenault (David) of Saint John; two grandsons, Bob (Darlene) and Bill (Marg) Wright of Ontario; two great-grandchildren, Gregory and Kaitlyn Arsenault of Saint John; two brothers, Vance (Audrey) McLeese of Winchester, ON and Seymour (Elaine) McLeese, of Back Bay, NB; two sisters, Leona Herron, (Austin) of McAdam and Jean Boudreau of Calgary, AB; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides his wife, Warden was predeceased by one brother, Clifton McLeese and three sisters, Helen, Fanny and Clara. Warden lived in Blacks Harbour most of his working life. He was a life long employee of Connors Brothers Ltd. in Blacks Harbour until his retirement.
