ROME - Alan Michael Clinch, 29, of 959 Floyd Ave., died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008, at his residence following a brief illness.
He was born Dec. 5, 1978 in Oneida, the son of Colleen Drennan Rolewicz and the late Gregory Clinch.
Mr. Clinch had been employed as a dealer for the Turning Stone Casino for the past nine years.
Surviving is his mother of Oneida; a stepfather, Richard Rolewicz of Verona; two brothers, Anthony Clinch of Oneida and Stephen Faniglula of Verona; two sisters, Randi Clinch of Vernon Center and Erica Shoen of Vernon; his paternal grandparents, Howard and Evelyn Clinch of Vernon; his maternal grandmother, Maryann Hayward of Sherrill; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and four nieces. He was predeceased by his father, Gregory, on Dec. 16, 2003 and his grandfather, Joseph Drennan, on Feb. 26, 2004.
Funeral services will be private. Friends are invited and may call on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008 from 4-9 p.m. at the Coolican-McSweeney Funeral Home, 322 Washington Ave., Oneida. Spring interment will be made in Vernon Center Cemetery.
A benefit reception will be held Friday evening, Feb. 1 from 6-10 p.m. at the Verona Fire Hall.
