DECATUR -Louise C. Allen, 85, of Decatur died 1:48 p.m. Friday (July 24,1992) in Lincoln Manor Nursing Home.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday in Dawson & Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home with visitation one hour before services. Burial will be in Friends Creek Cemetery, Argenta. Memorials: Decatur Memorial Hospital or Muscular Dystrophy Association, 2500 Galen Drive, Champaign, IL 61821.
Mrs. Allen was born in Piatt County on Aug. 1, 1906, daughter of Frank and Olive May Williams Clinton. She was a registered nurse and a member of Grace Baptist Church, Decatur. She married Daniel B. Allen in 1932. He died in 1976. Surviving are her son, David Allen of Pana; daughter, Mrs. Larry (Mary) Goe of San Jose, Calif.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Her parents, husband, one son, one brother and five sisters preceded her in death.

Louise Clinton Allen was the mother of David (Phyllis) Allen of Pana, IL, Larry Allen (deceased), and Mary (Larry) Goe of San Jose, CA. She was the grandmother of Sue Allen Davis of Pana, IL, Todd Allen of Decatur, IL, Ann Goe, and John Goe assumed to live in California. She was the great-grandmother of Justin Davis (deceased) and Valerie Davis Lynch both of Pana, IL. Her great-great grandchildren are Ross Lynch and Grant Allen Lynch all of Pana, Illinois.
