Mrs. Baites died Monday, April 11, 2005, at her residence. She was born March 7, 1918, in Arab to Carl Craton Cobb and Carrie Farrow Cobb. She was a homemaker. She met and married John E. Baites in 1942. She was a member of Central Baptist Church and taught children for a number of years in the children's Sunday school department.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, John E. Baites; one son; two daughters; 12 grandchildren; one great grandson; two sisters; and three brothers.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
