Lisa Cobb Baker, a resident of Norcross, Georgia and formerly of Cottonwood, died Friday July 22, 2011 at the Southeast Alabama Medical Center. She was 48.
Funeral services for Lisa will be held at 3 PM Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Cottonwood First Baptist with Reverend John Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Cottonwood City cemetery with Southern Heritage directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Cottonwood First Baptist Church, Cottonwood Road, Cottonwood, Al 36312.
Lisa was born August 6, 1962 in Houston County to Bill and Betty Kirkland Cobb. She was a 1980 graduate of Cottonwood High School and attended Wallace College and graduated from Atlanta School of Art and Design. Lisa was currently a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Lilburn, Georgia.
Lisa is preceded in death by her grandparents; Kermit and Johnnie Cobb, Clinton and Lettie Pearl Kirkland and an uncle, Larry Kirkland.
Survivors include her mother and father; brother and his wife, Darrin and Tonya Cobb, Wetumpka, AL; niece and nephew, Brianna and Brandon Cobb; three uncles, Bobby and Grace Kirkland, Cottonwood, Wayne and Jean Kirkland, Cottonwood and Don and Margie Cobb, Webb; aunts, Linda and Rey Nimons, Hampton Bay, NY, Patricia Kirkland, Panama City.
