Andrew Hankins "Drew" Cody, 26, of Jacksonville died Saturday, February 13, 2016, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

He was born June 16, 1989, in Springfield, the son of Thomas and Maralee Hankins Cody.

He is survived by his father, Thomas (wife, Tracy) Cody of Jacksonville; his mother, Maralee Hankins of South Jacksonville; two brothers, Jon Phalen Cody and Ian Thomas Cody, both of Columbia, Missouri; paternal grandmother, Hazel Cody of Winchester; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Clifford Cody; and maternal grandparents, Joseph and Mary Ellen Phalen Hankins.

Mr. Cody was a graduate of Jacksonville High School. He had been involved with Elm City Center for many years, and he loved his extended family at Alvin Eades Center. Drew enjoyed spending time with his family and attending parties, listening to music, watching movies and eating.

Burial at Calvary Cemetery in Jacksonville.
