Mrs. Thelma Coghill Bemiss, 40, 324 Sunset Avenue, Rio Vista, Arcadia, died Monday morning in Shelbyville, Kentucky.
Mrs. Bemiss has suffered from Brights disease for many, many years. She became so ill that three weeks ago, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas F. Coghill came down and carried their daughter and family back to Shelbyville with them so that they could take care of them Saturday, she suffered an heart attack, brought on by the disease that she had, and died.
She is survived by four children; daughter Linda Darlene; sons, Thomas Wayne, David Hensen, and Anthony Lee Bemiss; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas F. Coghill; and two sisters; Mrs. Fred Wheeler of Richmond, Virginia, and Mrs. Roy Hardin of Dayton, Ohio.
Mr. Bemiss died in late April of 1962, and was buried in Arcadia.
The funeral services for Mrs. Bemis will be held at 2:30 p.m. from the Paul Taylor Funeral Parlors in Shelbyville, Kentucky. Interment will be in the Grove Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville.
