Myrtle Chatham, 92, of 8366 U.S. 421, Milton, Ky., died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2003, at The Waters of Clifty Falls.
She was born April 14, 1910, in Trimble County, Ky., the daughter of Victor and Ida Liter Coghill. She was a homemaker, and attended the Mount Carmel United Methodist Church.
Surviving are six daughters, Wilma Anderson and Lois Bennett, both of Madison, Doris Beard and Sue Cull, both of Milton, Virginia Richardson of Deputy, and Shirley Davidson of Frankfort, Ky., five sons, Robert Chatham of Vevay, Billy Chatham of Madison, Ralph Chatham of Lexington, Fred Chatham of Hanover and Doug Chatham of Milton; one sister, Hazel Thompson of Madison; 31 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Lee Chatham, in 1984; two sons, Allen and Victory "Buddy" Chatham; one sister, Edna Coghill; one brother, James Coghill; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Milton Baptist Church, with burial in the Moffett Cemetery.
Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, and from 9 a.m. until noon Wednesday, at the Wood-Oakley Funeral Home in Milton.
