She was born in Trevose, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Fetzer Colbert. She was the widow of Richard O. Auckland who preceded her in death in 1998.
Surviving are her children, R. Dennis, husband of Mary Lou (Weigert) Auckland of Colorado Springs, CO, and Susan L., wife of George E. Darby of Akron; three grandchildren, Daniel Auckland, Jennifer Darby, and Amy Darby; and a great grandson.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 11 A.M. in the Forest Hills Memorial Park, Huntingdon Valley, PA.
