Gloria Collins, a 35-year area resident, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at The Kaplan Family Hospice Residence in Newburgh. She was 70.
The daughter of the late Pasquale and Giovanna Moscatiello, she was born on May 30, 1938 in New York, NY.
She was a retired case worker for Orange County Department of Social Services in Goshen.
Survivors include her husband, Edward Collins of South Blooming Grove; sons, Michael Ingrasci of Bronx, NY and Brian Collins and his wife, Eva of Boca Raton, FL; daughters, Christine Barillaro and her husband, George of Washingtonville, Donna Conforti of Flemington, NJ and Pamela Begin and her husband, Ray of Windham, NH; sisters, Arlene DeMatteo of South Blooming Grove and Linda Gori of Saugerties; 14 grandchildren: Nicholas, Danielle, Jaclyn, Matthew, Allison, Andrew, Dean, Madelyn, Shane, Erica, Colin, Annika, Brandon and Michaela; nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Friday, August 15 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Avenue, Monroe.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 16 at 9:15 a.m. at Chapel of the Sacred Heart, Stage Road, Monroe. Interment will follow in St. Raymond's Cemetery in the Bronx.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Kaplan Family Hospice Residence, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.
