Ada Fay Collins, 83, of Neptune Beach, passed away March 12, 2004 following a lengthy illness. She was born April 1, 1920 in Jacksonville, Florida and was a member of an old pioneering family and life long resident of the beaches area. She was one of the first members of St. Paul's Catholic Church of Jacksonville Beach and was a past member of the Alter Society. She was a member of the Beaches Junior Womens Club and a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy.

Family members include her daughter, Priscilla (Lowell) Breeding of Neptune Beach; son, Raymond J. (Sherrie) Knight of Jacksonville; brother, Raymond Strickland of Starke, Florida and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 16 in the St. Paul's Catholic Church with the Reverend William Kelly as Celebrant. Interment will be in the H. Warren Smith Cemetery with a reception following in the Family Life Center of St. Paul's Catholic Church.
