Gail Collins of Birmingham, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, April 15, 2014. She leaves to cherish her memories, a devoted husband of 28 years, Marion Collins; a loving son, NiKea Rasharn Lewis; three granddaughters, Kiara Rashawn Lewis, Yarian Lewis and Marissa Navarro; three grandchildren; four sisters, Juanita (Leonard) Russell, Jessie Shepherd, Beatrice Etheridge and Voncella (Leroy) Mauldin; one brother, Arthur Shepherd and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 11 am at Guiding Light Church, 1800 John Rogers Drive, Birmingham, AL 35210. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. Davenport & Harris directing.
